Online Yoga & Meditation Classes
Meditation – Fridays 7.30 – 8.00am
Join me every Friday morning for a guided meditation practice inspired by nature. Each week, I will offer a theme for reflection and then guide you through a short practice on this theme. Towards the end of the session there will be some time for sharing if it feels appropriate or personal journaling. No previous experience of meditation is required. The practices that I share may be inspired by different traditions (for example Buddhism, Hinduism or Celtic) but will be shared in an accessible way.
Slow Down and Rest – Sundays 8.00pm – 9.00pm
Join me for an evening class where we will slow down and take rest. Combining the practices of Yin and Restorative yoga and breathwork, this class will feature long-held poses, with lots of support from props and pillows. We might begin with some gentle movement, but most of this class will be spent in stillness. No previous experience of yoga is required.
For this class we will use some props for support. I would recommend: blankets, blocks, bolsters and an eye pillow. If you do not have yoga props at home, I recommend you gather the following things for the class: blankets, cushions, pillows, towels and something to cover your eyes.
Reiki Healing
Reiki is a system of energy healing that originates in Japan. The word Reiki can be translated as the sacred energy of life. Reiki treatments work on the energetic body – the part of ourselves that we cannot see, but certainly can feel.
The purpose of a Reiki treatment is to restore you to your true nature. During a treatment, I will share Reiki with you at certain points across your body (Chakra points). You may find yourself entering a meditative state where you feel deep relaxation. You might experience tingling and warmth throughout your body. You may find that you receive guidance from your inner self. I invite you to trust that Reiki will flow where it is needed and is shared from a place of deep compassion.
In a remote session we can connect via Zoom. I will invite you to lie down comfortably and guide you into a state of stillness with my voice. I will then share Reiki as I would in-person and we will have some time to share feedback at the end of the session. If you would like to receive Reiki free of technology, this is also possible. You will receive a text at the beginning of the session and then another at the end of the session. This option is ideal if you want to minimise screen time and receive Reiki free from distraction.
Seasonal Workshops
Earth Circles
Guided by nature, we gather in circle to draw wisdom from the earth. We remember that like the seasons, we too are ever changing. By consciously connecting to the rhythm of the year, we can honour our true nature and find greater peace.
The ancient Celtic festivals offer us a way to connect to the seasons through ritual, ceremony and celebration. Combining the practices of yoga, reiki, meditation and sound, these circles provide a space for inspiration, rest and community.
What to expect?
We will begin with a guided meditation to connect to the energy of the season, followed by time for reflection. This could be through journaling, an art based activity or a ritual. There will be some time for sharing. We will then enjoy some gentle movement before moving into stillness through restorative or yin yoga. We will finish with an extended relaxation or a sound healing journey. There will be an opportunity to receive reiki during the still part of the practice.
These circles are open to all, no previous experience is necessary.
